SSDs crash in any MWDMA mode.

I became aware of this when trying to use an old backup program limited to PIO modes and MWDMA-2 as the fastest option.

Forcing any SATA SSD's (I've tried around 20 different ones, mainly 512GB Samsungs, WD, Seagate, Gigabyte and other brands) in MWDMA-1 or -2 mode causes them crash and not write data.

The same SSDs work when forced to any PIO and UDMA 1-7 modes.
Has anyone else noticed this, basically any MWDMA mode no longer works on any SATA-SSD.

I have been testing more SATA SSD drives and now believe they have either dropped support for MWDMA modes or they are not implemented correctly (bugs).

I doubt this will ever get fixed as the manufacturers probably only test to confirm PIO and UDMA modes work in QA.
